PERRY APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF AMBULATORY PATIENT CARE SERVICES AT MCG

Augusta, Ga. -- Teri Perry was recently named Director of Ambulatory Patient Care Services for MCG Health, Inc.

Her responsibilities include development, implementation and maintenance of patient care services within Ambulatory Care Services, as well as management of the float pool staff and greeter service. Other responsibilities include providing leadership for the ongoing customer service initiative, JCAHO accreditation process, staff education and patient/family-centered care.

Mrs. Perry has 23 years of experience in healthcare. She has served at MCG for eight years, most recently in the position of Nurse Manager for the Cardiology Service Line. In her previous position at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston, S.C., she served as the Nurse Manager for the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Medical Oncology (H.O.P.E.) Unit and Bone Marrow Transplant Services.

She also holds a master's degree in nursing administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
