SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS ARE FOCUS OF CMC LECTURE SERIES

Augusta, Ga. -- "What Parents Can Do to Make the School Experience a Positive One" is the topic of the Project LINK Community Lecture Series for November. The lecture takes place in the main conference room (BT-1810) of the MCG Children's Medical Center on November 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The series is free and open to the public.

Mary Jo Schroeder, Columbia County Inclusion Coordinator for Autism Spectrum Disorders, will discuss ways that parents of autistic children can help their children find success in the school environment.

Sponsored by the MCG Children's Medical Center, Project LINK (Learning Information, Networking and Knowledge) is a service that provides educational resources and guidance for families who have children with developmental delays, disabilities and special health concerns. The Project LINK Community Lecture Series takes place the first Tuesday of every month.
