SEMINAR PROVIDES IMMUNIZATION UPDATE FOR CSRA HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

Augusta, Ga. -- The MCG Children's Medical Center, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Georgia Department of Human Resources present an Immunization Update Course on December 12 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Conference Center, MCG Children's Medical Center, Harper Street.

Taught by physicians and staff from local and national immunization organizations, the seminar will provide information on the future of vaccines, updates on state and local immunization requirements and vaccine safety. Dr. Larry Pickering of the Centers for Disease Control and author of the Red Book is the keynote speaker.

Physicians, nurses and office staff are encouraged to attend and may earn continuing education credits. The seminar is free, but registration is limited to the first 100 participants. Call Maureen Bravo at 706-721-2281 to register or for more information.
