The First Annual Kelsi Long Memorial Ride takes place Saturday, March 22, beginning at Polaris of America on Washington Road at 10:30 a.m. and ending at the MCG Children's Medical Center, where ride organizer Mike Maddox will present a check to Dr. Karen Carter, a developmental pediatrician at the center, who cares for kids with special needs.

Maddox organized the ride in honor of his granddaughter, who had Down Syndrome.
