HAMILTON ADMITTED TO AMERICAN COLLEGE OF PRACTICE EXECUTIVES

Augusta, Ga. -- Bill Hamilton, Administrative Director of the MCG Neuroscience Center, has gained admission as a Nominee to the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE).

Mr. Hamilton is responsible for directing the clinical and research programs of the MCG Neuroscience Center and the professional clinical practice of the Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery at MCG Health System. He was previously Department Manager for Neurology for seven years and also worked for Hospital Corporation of America in Aiken, S.C., for three years. Mr. Hamilton also holds master's degrees in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University.

The ACMPE provides opportunities for medical management professionals to develop professional competency and acquire formal recognition of achievements. Mr. Hamilton will have the opportunity to advance from Nominee to Certified Member to Fellow of the ACMPE by earning continuing education credits, passing a comprehensive examination and meeting a professional paper requirement.
