The MCG Gynecological Cancer Support Group will offer free Lunch and Learns about cervical cancer every Friday in January.

The Lunch and Learns will take place at MCG Terrace Dining on the second floor of MCG Medical Center from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Physicians from MCG Health System will present topics relating to cervical cancer prevention and treatment. On January 7, Dr. Sharad Ghamande, gynecologic oncologist, will discuss general guidelines for cervical cancer. On January 14, Dr. John Barrett, radiologist, will discuss innovations in radiation treatment for cervical cancer. On January 21, Dr. Michael Macfee, gynecologic oncologist, will provide further guidelines for cervical cancer. On January 28, Dr. Daron Ferris, gynecologic oncologist, will discuss how to prevent cervical cancer.
