MCG Health System, the Medical College of Georgia and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, sponsor of NASCAR driver Mark Martin’s bright blue Viagra racecar, have partnered to present an event to help increase awareness of prostate cancer.

On September 15 and 16 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., free prostate health information will be offered while the Viagra racecar is on display in the MCG Annex parking lot at the corner of 15th Street and Walton Way. Visitors are invited to learn more about prostate health and take photos of the car.

“More than 200,000 cases of prostate cancer are diagnosed annually, so it’s important for men and women to learn about prevention and general prostate health guidelines,” says Dr. Martha Terris, a urologist at MCG Health System and the Augusta VA Medical Center. “We invite you to enjoy a piece of racing fame and to learn about improving your health, or the health of someone you love.”
