Steinhart Addresses Rotary MeetingJune 28, 2005Augusta, Ga. Dr. Steinhart

Dr. Curt Steinhart, President and CEO of the MCG Physicians Practice Group Foundation (PPG), spoke about the new MCG Medical Associates, Lake Oconee Village at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club at Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Ga.

Dr. Steinhart addressed the need for improved health care and services in the area, which prompted Reynolds Plantation to invite MCG Medical Associates to build the new multi-specialty clinic on Linger Longer Road. Since its opening in January 2005, the office has experienced a positive response from local residents and is expanding its services to include midwifery, podiatry and others, based upon need.

"We have a long history of providing quality care to residents throughout the state of Georgia," said Dr. Steinhart. "We’re pleased about the welcome we’ve received from the Lake Oconee area and that we have been able to become a part of this wonderful community."

MCG Medical Associates offers a comprehensive array of medical specialties and subspecialties, including: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Urology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Plastic Surgery, Neurology, Psychiatry, Pain Management, General/GI Surgery and Allergy.
