The MCG Sports Medicine Center is offering a Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic through October 29 for all athletes injured during Friday night games. The goal of the clinic is to help treat injuries quickly and ensure that athletes return to the field safely and as soon as possible. The walk-in clinic will be held from 9 to 11 a.m.

"Friday night football and other sports are a tradition here in the South during the fall season," said Dr. Monte Hunter, Medical Director of the MCG Sports Medicine Center. "When athletes are hurt on the field, even in non-emergent cases such as a twisted knee or sprain, it’s still important that these athletes receive care and treatment as soon as possible in order to help speed healing and keep their performance level high."

At the clinic, athletes will receive care from the board-certified/eligible and fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians of the MCG Sports Medicine Center.
