The MCG Sports Medicine Center is offering a Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic for all athletes injured during Friday night practices or games. Staffed by board-certified and fellowship-trained sports medicine physicians, the walk-in clinic starts at 9 a.m. on every Saturday through November 11. The center is located at 937 15th St.

The clinic is for all fall sports, including football, cheerleading, softball, volleyball, soccer and others. The goal is to help treat injuries quickly and ensure that athletes return to the field safely. “When athletes are hurt on the field, even if it’s just a twisted knee or sprain, it’s still important that they receive care and treatment as soon as possible to help speed a return to full activity,” said Dr. Monte Hunter, Medical Director of the MCG Sports Medicine Center.
