Four Augusta Physicians Named Top Cancer DoctorsOctober 5, 2007Augusta, Ga. Four faculty members of the Medical College of Georgia recently became the only Augusta area doctors included among the nation’s most outstanding physicians for the diagnosis and treatment of cancers in adults and children.  The list was compiled by Castle Connolly and is published in its third edition of “America’s Top Doctors for Cancer.”

Dr. Anand Jillella Medical oncologist Dr. Anand Jillella works with hematology/oncology patients and those having bone marrow transplants.  In addition to seeing patients, Dr. Jillella conducts research on bone marrow transplantation, leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and blood related cancers.
 Dr. David Lind Dr. David Lind is a fellowship-trained surgical oncologist who treats patients with melanoma, breast cancer and sarcoma.
Dr. David Terris

Fellowship-trained otolaryngologist Dr. David Terris performs minimally invasive surgery on patients with head and neck tumors.  He researches novel surgeries for thyroid and other head and neck cancers, including robotic neck surgery.

Dr. Martha Terris
Dr. Martha Kennedy Terris is chief of the Section of Urology at the Augusta Veterans Affairs Medical Center and professor of urology at the Medical College of Georgia.  She is a fellowship-trained urologic oncology researcher and educator whose primary focus in prostate cancer risks, diagnosis and treatment.
