The recent 7th Annual Cares for Kids Radiothon, hosted by 104.3 WBBQ and 102.3 The Bull, raised more than $144,000 in pledges and donations for the MCG Children’s Medical Center. The Radiothon is one of the hospital’s largest fundraisers, and the majority of the proceeds this year will go toward the renovation of the Pediatric Oncology Outpatient Clinic, which is dedicated to the care of children with cancer. Additional donations received after the check presentation increased the total from $142,005 to $144,205.
