It is through the generosity of our donors and volunteers that we are able to purchase specially designed equipment and supplies for children, offer patient-centered programs and services, and recruit and retain world-class pediatric physicians and other health care professionals.
Ways you can help support
- Equipment: At MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center, pediatric medical equipment comes in as many sizes as our children. From the highest technically advanced Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) equipment to over nine different sizes of blood pressure cuffs, your support brings our kids the supplies and technology they need.
- Programs: The MCGHealth Children’s Heart Center provides cardiovascular care to the tiniest patients. And as one of two centers in Georgia specializing in advanced laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures in children, our pediatric surgeons offer a wide range of specializations to meet the individualized and unique needs of our young patients. With your help, our long tradition of excellence in pediatric heart care and surgery will continue.
- Medical leaders: At MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center, we bring world-class physicians to children right here in the CSRA. Our recent additions include Dr. James St. Louis, cardiothoracic surgeon from Brown University Medical School and Hasbro Children’s Hospital; Dr. Walter Pipkin, the area’s only pediatric surgeon providing advanced, minimally invasive surgeries for children; and Dr. Jeffrey Donohoe, a fellowship-trained pediatric urologist.
