On September 6th and 7th, 2008, twelve Six Flags locations across the United States will be hosting "A Walk In The Park" events to raise funds in support of Cure Kids Cancer. Through these walks, awareness is raised for this vital cause while helping to provide the resources necessary for pediatric cancer patients to receive world-class treatment close to home. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to MCGHealth Children's Medical Center.

Each participant is asked to pay a $25 registration fee to help cover the costs of staging the event, and will receive breakfast, a gift bag, a Cure Kids Cancer souvenir wristband and the ability to purchase discounted admissions ticket to enjoy the Six Flags rides and activities. If you cannot attend the walk, you can become a virtual walker for $25.
