Prior to joining MCGHealth, Damron held progressively responsible positions at Durham Regional Hospital, a division of Duke University Health System, most recently serving as Divisional Chief Financial Officer. Previously, he was a Staff and Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young, LLP.

Damron earned a B.S. degree in Physics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.S. degree in Accounting from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

He is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
