Mumford Appointed MCGHealth Administrative Director July 25, 2008 Augusta, GA-- James Mumford, MHA, FACHE, recently joined MCGHealth as Administrative Director of Pediatrics in Ambulatory and Network Services. He will oversee the outpatient pediatric practice site.
Before joining MCGHealth, Mumford served as the hospital administrator and chief administrative officer of Tod Children’s Hospital and physician practices at Forum Health - Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio. Prior to that, he served as corporate director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and as administrator of P.T. Services, Inc./Select Medical Corporation in Tiffin, Ohio.
Mumford is board certified in healthcare administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He earned a master’s degree in health administration from Xavier University in Cincinnati and graduated cum laude from St. Meinrad College in St. Meinrad, Ind., with a Bachelor of Arts degree in science.
