UGA, USC Cheerleaders Visit MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center September 18, 2008 Augusta, GA--

On their way to Augusta’s annual Border Bash, an event traditionally held the evening before the Georgia v. Carolina football game, cheerleaders from the University of Georgia and the University of South Carolina paid a visit to the MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center for a short pep rally and a meet-and-greet with patients, families and staff. Kaiti Walker of Thomasville, Ga., was excited to meet Georgia Cheerleaders (l-r) Paige Martin and Ashley Hines during her hospital stay. |

Kevin Mendez and Cheerleaders: Kevin Mendez of Hartwell, Ga., enjoyed the company of three University of Georgia Cheerleaders at the MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center the day before the annual Georgia v. Carolina football game. Kevin and his family were at the children’s hospital with his younger sister who was recovering after surgery when the cheerleaders from UGA and the University of South Carolina “cheered” patients, families and staff with their annual visit and brief pep rally. |
