Pastoral Care Chapel Window

The MCGHealth Children’s Medical Center is a place "Where Kids Are". Ministering to the spiritual needs of the children entrusted to our care and their families is a vital part of the Pastoral Counseling Department’s mission. Those needs vary greatly and at MCGHealth we have a well qualified and diverse group of chaplains available to accomplish this important task.

The CMC Chapel
A quiet haven of prayer and meditation, the chapel is close by. Regular Chapel services are scheduled each Sunday at 10:45 AM.

Helping kids and their families find hope, strength and spiritual courage is a privilege and challenge. It is one we strive to meet daily with sensitivity and integrity.

	A chaplain is available in the hospital 24 hours a day Monday-Friday and one is on-call from home on weekends. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. M-F. The chaplain on-call may be reached by dialing 706-721-3893 for emergency matters.
