Children's Champions

HenryBecause there are children like Cody
One look at Cody’s captivating smile and you soon forget that he does so from his small wheelchair. Born at 29 weeks and weighing only two pounds, Cody spent three months in MCG Children’s Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the region’s highest level NICU. After numerous surgeries, Cody was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when he was just one year old. Today, at age four, Cody sees the rehabilitation specialists at the Children’s Medical Center on a regular basis. Thanks to his therapists and physicians, Cody is growing and gaining new skills every day. All you have to do is look at that smile to know that he loves his therapists as much as they love him.

Because of Cody, and the many other children born with Cerebral Palsy, MCG Children’s Medical Center provides world-class pediatric rehabilitation services. We are here to help children of all ages get a healthy start on life.
