When Stanley is on the basketball court, nothing else matters. He plays with his heart and soul – and he, like his teammates, plays from his wheelchair. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Stanley has endured more than his share of medical problems. When he was just seven years old, the pediatric orthopaedic surgeons at MCG Children’s Medical Center performed a delicate operation to help his hips develop properly. Today, Stanley goes to physical therapy on a regular basis and is an honor roll student. And his heart and soul tells him that someday he will walk all by himself.
