Sickle Cell Center

The MCGHealth Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center was established in 1972. The center incorporates the work of MCGHealth faculty from medicine, pediatrics, neurology, molecular biology, and other specialties. This interaction enables a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to research, patient care and education.
