Kevin Landolfo, MD, MSc
Chairman, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery

Dr. Landolfo came to MCG from Duke University. He specializes in all aspects of cardiac surgery, particularly in valve repair and bypass surgery without the use of the heart-lung bypass machine.  Dr. Landolfo is an experienced transplant surgeon and has pioneered the use of robotics in heart surgery.

Dr. Kunavarapu is a cardiologist with advanced training and specialization in heart failure and heart transplantation from Columbia University.

Dr. Patel is a Cardiothoracic Surgeon who came to MCG from the Texas Heart Institute in Houston.  Dr. Patel has special interest in all types of heart/lung transplantation and mechanical heart-assist devices.

Henry Wiles, MD
Chief, Pediatric Cardiology

Dr. Wiles practiced Pediatric Cardiology at The Medical University of South Carolina before coming to MCG.  He helped start the heart transplantation program there and was the Medical Director of Pediatric Transplantation.
