Skin Cancer Prevention and Care at MCGHealth

Skin cancer strikes more people worldwide than any other type of cancer. If you’re among them, depend on MCGHealth’s Skin Cancer Program. The program is staffed by dermatologists, surgeons, a Mohs surgeon, a dermatopathologist, medical oncologists and radiation oncologists who work as a team to prevent, diagnose and treat basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and othr types of skin cancers.

The center also focuses on educating the public about the dangers of skin cancer, skin cancer prevention and the importance of regular screenings. In addition, it sponsors free annual skin cancer screenings.
